I know that you care about animal suffering. I feel the same way and so does Ricky Gervais. That’s why I’m asking you to help us stop a terrible practice that is brutally killing an estimated 20 million innocent dogs every year. That’s 38 dogs killed every minute! People think killing dogs will stop rabies. It doesn’t. Mass culling government programs have proven to be totally ineffective. Rabies spreads, and dogs are still being killed by the millions. We know how to save dogs slated to be killed in these horrific street-slaughter programs - but we need your generous support to do it. | 
| | Our solution is simple: we run vaccination programs targeting at least 70% of the dog population - the only proven way to prevent the spread of rabies. And to ensure people know when a dog has been vaccinated, we place a red collar around his neck. "I back WSPA's Collars Not Cruelty campaign, to help end the unnecessary deaths of millions of dogs, killed every year, because of our fear of rabies," said Ricky Gervais, comedian and WSPA spokesperson. WSPA has already saved the lives of more than 300,000 dogs in Bali, Indonesia and is helping many thousands more in Bangladesh. We hope to save lives in Indonesia, the Philippines and China – success here will save the lives of hundreds of thousands, even millions of dogs.
